Since July, I have been blogging monthly for Lync Logistics, a freight brokerage firm in Chattanooga, TN. Last year the Women Presidents' Organization named Lync as the 3rd fastest growing female-owned business in the country, and this year Lync was named #366 on the annual Inc. 5000 list.
The Social Media
In recent weeks, I have also taken over the majority of social media management for Lync. running their Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook. Maintaining a minimum of 2-3 posts per week while working remotely has its challenges but has certainly been fun. Once again using the templates and voice determined initially by Vayner Media, the main goal of this project has been consistency. Canva has been the primary design resource, however, Lync has requested a few new posts, such as Manager of the Month features, that have allowed me to be creative and formulate my own templates with Illustrator.
One of the more fun aspects of the project is "Lebron's Thoughts," the thoughts of the Chief Happiness Officer at Lync Logistics, a four-year old golden retriever. Once sourced from other dog pages, these quotes and thoughts and now completely original.
The Mural
Lync Logistics is also the first company to commission me for a mural. After creating a mockup, shown below, and presenting it to the CEO, I then traveled to Chattanooga and spent approximately 9 hours painting this custom, coffee station mural.
The "coffee" font is Bebas Neue, with some adjustments to make the font more fixed width, and the bottom font is a mix of Amarillo and my own handwriting.
