DesignEd is a local educational consulting firm that I have had the honor of working with for the past year. The owner, Lauren, was looking to refresh her logo and brand and I was looking for educational professional development opportunities, so we traded expertise.
The Logo
I started by redesigning the DesignEd logo. When I asked Lauren what the image was behind the text in her original logo, she said she wasn't sure. We discussed her design aesthetic, what she was looking for, and where she saw her business going. I made the decision to stick with a typographic logo because recently DesignEd has been contracting with companies outside of the education industry, helping them revitalize their workplace culture.

The Information
Lauren already had several one-pagers to use as handouts, but she wanted to update them with her new logo and create a more dynamic flow. By reducing the amount of blocky text and adding in cited statistics and data complimented by new graphics, I took the one-pagers from feeling like a flyer to feeling like an infographic.
