The Journal of STEM Outreach is an online, open-access, academic journal that was originally created in 2018.
During my tenure as Journal Manager, I took on many different projects including designing the logo, creating the manuscript template and formatting all manuscripts, and managing the Journal of STEM Outreach Twitter account.
In the first year of the Journal, we published 27 manuscripts, highlighting educational programs across the country; we switched from a free Wordpress site to a fully-integrated Scholastica-hosted site; and we garnered 450 twitter followers.
